DHAKA : Police on Wednesday night submitted charge sheet against 29 leaders and activists of BNP-led 18-party alliance including Fakhrul Islam Alamgir in a case filed for cocktail explosion at the Secretariat during hartal.
Court sources said to banglanews said Shahbag Thana police placed the charge sheet before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court on Wednesday night.
Some 29 leaders and activists of BNP-led 18-party alliance were made accused in a case filed with Shahbag Thana case filed for cocktail explosion at the Secretariat during dawn-to-dusk hartal on April 29.
Earlier on May 14, the High Court granted anticipatory bails to top leaders of BNP-led 18-party alliance until submission of the charge sheet against them in the case.
