SUNAMGANJ: A teenage girl allegedly committed suicide at Mahanpur village under Sadar upazila of the district on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Sheuli Akter, 13, daughter of Ratan Mia, was a student of class-VII of Joynagar Bazar Haji Ganibox High School.
Police recovered her hanging body.
Locals said family members recovered her body hanging with a ceiling-fan of the house in the morning.
Officer-in-Charge of Sunamganj Sadar Thana confirmed the incident to banglanews.
