NARAYANGANJ: A woman was found dead on a roof of a multi-storied building in Tanbazar area of the district town on Saturday morning.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Sub-Inspector of Sadar Model Thana Nur Mohammad said the body of the unidentified woman was recovered from roof a six-storied building of late Awami League leader Khokon Ghosal of the district.
He added: “The body might be thrown from the roof of a seven-storied building adjacent to the building.”
Police also seized a stick with blood from the spot, he added.
