DHAKA: Ruling Awami League will stage a mass rally in city’s Kamrangir Char area on February 3 to create mass upsurge against conspiracy of Jamaat-Shibir to foil war crimes trial.
Prime Minister also Awami League President Sheikh Hasina will address in the rally to be held beside Kamrangir Char Beribadh.
The disclosure came from an extended meeting of City Awami League held on Wednesday noon.
The premier will inaugurate several establishments, including a high school, three primary schools and a community health complex.
City AL general secretary Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya urged party men to make the rally a success.
Through turning the rally into a historic one, we have to send message to Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatra Shibir that all conspiracy of them to be failed and criminals who committed crimes against humanity during liberation war must be tried, Maya said.
City AL joint general secretary also state minister for law Quamrul Islam also made the same urge the party men.
