GOPALGANJ: One person was killed and 5 others were injured in a microbus accident on Rajpat-Rahu road in Rajpat area under Kashiani Upazila of the district on Monday night.
The deceased was identified as Sankar Sikder, 32, hailed from Gritakandi village of the upazila.
The injured were admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital and Gopalganj General Hospital.
The accident took place at 11:00pm as the microbus driver, carrying bridegroom passengers, lost control over its steering and fell on the roadside ditch, leaving Sankar dead on the spot, said Kashiani Thana Officer-in-Charge Syed Abdul Mannan.
