PABNA: Detective Branch of Police (DB), in a drive, held two suspected outlaws near Koyrabari High School under Atgharia upazila late on Tuesday midnight.
The detainees are Sobhan Pramanik, 40, son of late Jahir Pramanik of Patershar village and Mukul Hossain, 35, son of late Jabbar Sheikh of the same village.
Atgharia Thana OC Monirul Islam told banglanews, “Acting on tip off, a team of DB police conducted the raid behind Koyrabari High School in the area and picked them up while preparing to commit subversive acts around 11:00pm.”
Later, DB police also recovered a toy pistol from their possession and handed them over to the Thana.
The detainees were scheduled to be produced before court on Wednesday morning, the OC added.
