DHAKA: A 3-day service fair, arranged by the world renowned hi-tech brand ‘Dell’ in associate with its local partner Computer Source Ltd (CSL), held from 24-26 at a city hotel.
Through this unlike fair they introduced the ‘Dell PC Clinic’ concept first time in the Local Market.
The Service was available for all kinds of Dell consumer product including Laptop & PC. The service or product warranty card wasn’t fact to receive the service.
Dell service fair was inaugurated by Sonia Bashir Kabir, Country Manager, Dell Bangladesh along with Asif Mahmud, Directors, CSL and Md. Faizullah Khan, president, Bangladesh Computer Samity.
In the welcome speech at the opening ceremony Asif Mahmud said, “Dell has the power to do more. They always think one step ahead and always been the ancestor in the global IT market by introducing the high-tech PCs and consumer product.”
“Dell has the technical expertise and professional strength to deliver the tech solutions, service and support. They believe is service and consumer relation rather to sale. CSL is very proud and happy to get the support from Dell to introduce the first ever its kind of service fair,” he added.
Sonia Bashir Kabir said, “Sale is driven by service and the customer satisfaction is not enough anymore rather to work to delight our customers. So service is very important to us.”
“As the local partner CSL has been a very proactive to growing the market for Dell and I am very happy to announced that the CSL is the first PC clinic for Dell in Bangladesh. They have the experts who will attended and provide the service to all Dell PCs and laptop consumers during this fair,” she added.
She again said, “It is really a impressive and inspiring service model. With this PC clinic, Dell and CSL will prove to our customers that we care we will demonstrate our capability, commitment and consistency in servicing our customers. Service is the differentiator for winning customers` confidence and boost sales. We believe our existing and prospective customers will now choose Dell over any other brand as they will see that Dell is investing in Bangladesh and is here to stay.”
Faizullah Khan said, “This joint initiative and Dell PC Clinic concept is a new milestone in local ICT market what reflects the importance of customer care as well as Dell concern on it.”
“Actually service became the parameter of business success and consumer are very much concern in this regard I personally appreciate the arrangement and expecting its success overall,” he added.
This extraordinary event got a huge crowd and the atmosphere was exceptional as traditional in the local market.
A lot of visitors gathered the fair and were happy to have this free repairing service and different queries on Dell. Visitor’s interest was also noticed to the product showcasing on different model of Dell Inspiration series laptops.
At the fair CSL also showcased latest webcam, mouse and keyboard from Logitech wireless technologies and digital data security products from Norton.
‘Dell Experience Zone’ is open for all to get first-hand experience on the various products of Dell.
In the fair the clinic was decorated nicely and the Technical assistance wear the doctor’s uniform to make the Dell PC Clinic concept a real.
To attract the city people, two elephants was (Symbol of Strength) walking through the major parts of the city holding Dell Service Banner in their back.
The fair also had contests, raffle draws and seminars on Dell products, upcoming technology and service offerings.
