TANGAIL: Opposition Chief Whip Zainul Abdin Farroque said the government should resign in order to protect the country.
He came up with the remarks while addressing a programme organized by district Chhatra Dal at district Shaheed Minar premises on Saturday evening.
He said, “The government has proved that it want to establish Baksal by torturing opposition men.”
Meanwhile, the leader urged the government to restore the caretaker government system responding to oppositions’ demand.
Indicating Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Farroque said, “You are patronizing the negative power in your own house. It killed your father and now is creating obstacles for you.”
