DHAKA: Ruling Awami League has termed Columnist ABM Musa mentally disordered and one of anti-liberation persons.
On January 24, in a discussion ABM Musa said Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was a level-3 leader during formulation of 6-point demand in 1966.
Terming this comment outrageous and indecent, Awami League protested his speech saying it unexpected and unlucky.
Awami League joint general secretary Mahbub-Ul-Alam Hanif came up with the observation in a written statement during a press briefing at Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Dhanmondi office on Friday afternoon.
Mahbub-Ul-Alam Hanif said, “A person, who is mentally disordered and hate Bangbandhu, can only deliver such type of speech.”
He also said that Musa is delivering such type of speech as his TV channel didn’t get approval.
Hanif also alleged that Musa participated in anti-Bangladesh campaign during liberation war in Hong Kong where he went through showing Pakistani passport.
