DINAJPUR: Opposition BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Dinajpur visit has been rescheduled.
As per the new schedule, Khaleda Zia will visit the district on September 23 in stead of 20.
District BNP sources said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina would inaugurate Teesta Bridge in Rangpur on September 20. So, the administration started giving requisition the vehicles of North Bengal.
In the circumstances, BNP will not get necessary vehicles to bring the party supporters to the programme of the chairperson. So, Khaleda Zia has postponed the visit.
Dinajpur District BNP General Secretary Mukur Chowdhury said the schedule has been postponed considering vehicle crisis.
