DHAKA: With the theme “Connection, not News”, the fourth 24-hr long news-based Bangladeshi satellite TV channels—Channel ’71, will launch its commercial operations on Thursday.
The launching ceremony will be held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre at city’s Agargaon.
The news channel will start its full-fledged official journey with an exceptional programme entitled ‘What kind of government we want during national election: Partisan or all-party’.
Muzammel Babu will discharge as Managing Director and Chief Editor of the channel while Samia Zaman will do her duty as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Syed Istiaq Reza will perform as Director of News while Ikram Kabir and Shakhil Ahmed as Head of Input and Head of Output of the channel.
The channel will use the latest technologies used in the world famous TV channels, sources said.
