SYLHET: A man was killed as a truck hit his motorcycle in airport road area of the district sadar early Monday.
The deceased was identified as Md Rabiul Islam.
Witnesses said a truck hit his motorcycle from behind in the area around 12am while he was going to Ambarkhana area, killing him on the spot.
Sylhet Airport Thana SI Maeen told banglanews, “An identity card was found in the victim`s pocket which cited that he was a worker of a Biscuit and Bakery factory.”
The process is underway to send the body to Osmani Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
Later, police held the truck driver.
