BHOLA: A minor girl was run over by a bus in Dowry Bazar area under Lalmohan upazila Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Faima, 6, daughter of Hiron Mia of Kalma union and a class II student of a local primary school.
Witnesses said a Chittagong-bound bus ran over her while she was crossing the road in Dowry Bazar area around 8:30am, killing her on the spot.
Besides, angry locals blockaded Bhola-Charfashion highway regarding the matter.
Later, police recovered the body and took the situation under control.
Lalmohan Thana OC Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
