GAZIPUR: Two people were killed and five others injured in two separate road accidents on Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway in Rajendrapur and Boardbazar areas of the district on Saturday morning.
The identities of the deceased and injured could not be known immediately.
Naujor Highway Police Outpost sergeant Iqbal Hossain told banglanews that a motorcyclist, aged around 32, was killed on the spot around 11:15am as a vehicle knocked his bike down.
In another head-on collision between a bus and a human hauler called ‘Laguna’ around 11:30am, leaving a Laguna passenger, aged around 35, dead and five others injured.
