DHAKA: Opposition BNP chief whip Zainul Abdin Farroque on Monday hinted at waging the party’s anti government movement after the month of Ramadan.
He said, “The government could not hinder our non-stop movement which is going to be launched after the Eid-ul Fitr.”
Farroque came up with the forewarning while addressing a symbolic mass hunger strike called by Jatiyatabai Bandhu Dal in front of National Press Club on Monday.
Asking the to expose the letter of World Bank to people, he said, “It is proved that you have taken bribes as you do not have the courage to expose the letter of World Bank.”
Meanwhile, the opposition leader claimed that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her close relatives are directly involved with corruption.
Addressing the 14-party-led- grand alliances, he said, “We will not let you to hold any election without the participation of BNP-led-18-party-allaince. Please, restore the caretaker system without any delay.”
