BOGRA: A motorcyclist was killed as a tank-lorry hit his bike at Banani intersection under Shahjahanpur Upazila on Thursday morning.
The deceased was identified as Enamul Haque Tapu, 67, late Abdul Momin Pathan in Dhunat Upazila of the district.
Shahjahanpur Thana OC Mahmudul Alam told banglanews, ‘An oil-laden tank lorry hit the motorcycle carrying Tapu and two others from behind in the area at about 10:30am, leaving him dead on the spot, two others injured.”
The injured were given first aid at Bogra Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
Police is taking efforts to seize the tank-lorry with its driver.
The process is underway to file case in the connection.
