DHAKA: Police in a drive held two students with huge locally made weapons from Dhaka College students’ hostel early Monday.
The identities of the detainees could not be known yet.
New market Thana SI Shafiqul Islam told banglanews, “Around 12-15 choppers, 20 big choppers and 50-60 iron pipes were recovered in the two-hour drive conducted from 12:30am.”
He said, the detainees were taken to New market Thana.
Earlier on April 28, at least 10 students were injured, two by bullets, during a factional clash between two rival groups of Bangladesh Chhatra League at Dhaka College early Sunday over establishing supremacy.
