BANCHARAMPUR, BRAHMANBARIA: Country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group distributed new clothes among poor people in Bancharampur upazila of the district Thursday morning.
A total of 25,000 pieces of clothes were distributed amongst 118 villagers of 13 unions under the upazila.
BG Advisor (Treasurer) Moynal Hossain Chowdhury on behalf of the group chairman distributed the clothes which started around 7am from Durgarampur village.
Amongst the others, BG Assistant General Manager Mynul Kobir, Bancharampur Sadar Union Parishad Chairman Hazrat Ali and local mass media workers were also present during the cloth distribution.
Earlier on Wednesday, Bashundhara Group distributed clothes among five thousand underprivileged women in different areas of Rupganj upazila in Narayanganj district.
