BNP holds meeting with foreign diplomats

DHAKA: Senior leaders of opposition BNP sat in a meeting with foreign diplomats at a city hotel Friday night.

Sources said BNP acting secretary general Mirza fakhrul Islam Alamgir, vice chairman Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury, advisors to BNP chairperson Riaz Rahman, Sabih Uddin Ahmed, Dr Osman Faruk and diplomats of USA, Australia, Canada and Turkey attended the meeting.

They discussed on the current political situations of the country, party sources said.
