HSTU summer vacation begins

DINAJPUR: Hazee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University goes on a 16-day summer vacation from Friday.

The regular classes and examinations of the university will resume on July 1, university sources said.

All administrative activities would remain closed from June 15 to 20, sources added.

The students of the university have started returning home to enjoy the vacation with their kith and kin, said ATM Shafiqul Islam, director of teachers and students centre of the university.

Since the inception of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science & Technology University in 1999, the first Science and Technology University in the northern region of Bangladesh, has started its summer vacation in this year for the first time, said VC M Afzal Hossain.
