DHAKA: The authorities of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartipakkha (RAJUK) declared names a total of 520 plot winners of Jhilmil Residential Project after lottery Wednesday.
The programme held at Osmani Memorial auditorium in the city.
The experts of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) assisted for conducting the lottery.
A total of 1,090 plots would be allotted among the applicants of plots allotment at Jhilmil Residential Project.
Sources said that RAJUK allotted some 115 plots of five katha and 405 of three katha under nine categories in the first phase.
The project located 1.5 kilometer outside from Bangladesh–China Maitri Bridge at Postagola in the city.
As per allotment rule, the plots are being allotted with classification into 20 categories and sub-categories.
Earlier, it was scheduled to hold the lottery of the project in February and March.
The RARUK started taking application forms for plots under Jhilmil Residential Area project from June and continued till mid September.
A total of 35,000 applications were submitted in different categories--five katha, three katha and 2.5 katha plots.
