Avengers to be premiered at Cineplex

DHAKA: The Avengers, a 2012 American superhero film, will be premiered at Star Cineplex at Basundhara City Shopping Mall on Panthapath in Dhaka.

This Hollywood adventure, thriller and sci-fi movie will be premiered at 6:15pm on August 2.

Scripted and directed by Joss Whedon, this film features an ensemble cast that includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, and Jeremy Renner, among others.

The movie had had its world premiere on April 11.

It will be screened at the Cineplex at 11:00am, 2:00pm and 7:20pm from August 3 onwards.

The Cineplex organisers said that ‘Priyojon’ programme of the cell phone operator Banglalink will sponsor the movie title and cooperate in screening the movie.

Users of ‘Priyojon’ will on conditions get one ticket free after buying one ticket, the organisers added.
