Minor drowns in Kishoreganj

KISHOREGANJ: A child drowned in haor water at Purba Austa village under Austagram upazila of the district on Monday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Chhoton Mia, 7, son of Asimuddin of the village.

Neighbors told banglanews that he fell into the haor water while playing and drowned.

Later, family members recovered his body from the haor around 2:45pm.
