CU student drowned

CHITTAGONG: A first-year student of Fine Arts Institute of Chittagong University was drowned in a waterfall beside varsity campus on Wednesday.

The victim is identified as Salman Jahan.

Proctor of the university Khan M Towhid Osman said banglanews fire service diver team has informed to rescue the victim.

Rezaul Karim, Assistant Proctor of CU said, “We informed about the matter and teachers, students along with employees are trying to rescue the student.”

Chittagong fire service control room sources said a diver team has already been sent to the campus.
