Section 144 imposed in Comilla

COMILLA: The local administration Saturday imposed section 144 in Nababpur Government Primary School ground and its adjacent area as BNP and Awami League have arranged Iftar party at the same place on the same day.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) M Zakir Hossain imposed the section 144 in the area to be enforced from 3:00pm to 12:00am on the day.

The UNO told banglanews, apprehending disturbance in law-and-order, the local administration imposed section 144 on the venue and surrounding areas and deployed police forces to avert any untoward situation.
