DHAKA: A motorcyclist was killed as a truck rammed a motorcycle down in capital’s Kajla area under Jatrabari thana on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Habibur Rahman, 20, a student of Shaheed Suhrawardi College.
Confirming the matter, Jaytrabari thana police said, “A speedy driven truck rammed a motorcycle down at about 11:30pm, leaving the motorcyclist died on the spot.”
Later, locals held the truck driver and beat him black and blue.
Truck driver Azam is undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, said medical source.
