DHAKA: Around 1.73 crore people die of heart attack every year around the world.
The death toll will rise to 2.30 crore every year if the risk factors can not be reduced within 2030.
The doctors came up with the disclosure at a seminar on “Heart disease prevention and cure” organized by Quantum Heart Club at Kakrail IDB Auditorium on Thursday.
They said proper lifestyle, scientific eating habits, meditation can prevent heart attack permanently.
Besides, they said a person can avoid heart attack by exercising and restraining from eating oil, fat and salt food.
National Professor and also the founder of National Heart Foundation Brigadier (retd) Abdul Malik was present as the Chief Guest.
Among others, Dr. Ahmed Mortuza Chawdhury, Dr. Hasnayen Nanna, Dr. Moniruzzaman, Dr Subrina Yasmin took part in the discussion presided over by National Professor Dr. M R Khan.
