Rain likely occurs on Eid-day

DHAKA: Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast that rain is likely to occur at many places around the country on Monday.

Light to moderate rain or showers accompanied by tempo gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions with moderately heavy falls at places, the department said.

Meteorologist M Zahid Hossain confirmed the weather forecast to banglanews over telephone.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. The highest maximum temperature is likely to be (35 -36) °C and the lowest minimum temperature may be (24-25) °C.

Monday’s sunrise moment at Dhaka is BDST 0536 HRS and that of sunset is BDST 1856 HRS.

In addition, the highest maximum temperature recorded at Dhaka was 33.3°C and the lowest minimum temperature was 27.3°C on Sunday.
