DHAKA: Country’s stock market marked fall again in its price indices on Monday.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index shed over 88 points minus to stand at 3315 at about 12:00pm on the second trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 17,522 with transaction at Tk 437 million.
Of the issues traded, 10 advanced, 200 declined and 9 remained unchanged.
BSCCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 26 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were GRAMEENPHONE, MPETROLEUM, LAFSURCEML, SQURPHARMA, UNIQUEHRL, LANKABAFIN, BEXIMCO, NBL and TITASGAS.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 7,578 by dropping over 199 points.
Out of the issues traded, 8 gained, 105 declined and 20 remained unchanged.
