DHAKA: A person was killed as a passenger bus rammed him in front of Apex Footwear Factory on Dhaka-Tangail Highway under Kaliakoir upazila of the district Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Hikmot Ali, hailed from Kanchanpur area of the upazila.
Sub-Inspector of Konabari Highway Police Outpost Rabiul Islam told banglanews that a passenger bus crushed into Hikmot in the area while he was crossing the road, leaving him injured critically.
Later, he succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.
