DHAKA: Opposition BNP Standing Committee member Dr Abdul Moeen Khan said Awami League is not accepting the people’s demand ‘caretaker government system’ as it believes in oppressive single party rule.
He came up with the allegation while addressing a meeting organized by Wridoye Bangladesh held at the National Press Club in the city on Friday morning.
Prime Minister speaks for democracy in abroad but behaves despotic in home, he claimed.
No election will be held without caretaker government, he forewarned.
With the organization president major (rtd) Md Hanif in the chair, adviser to Khaleda Enam Ahmed Chowdhury, Juba Dal president Muazzem Hossain Alal, Islami Oikyajote secretary general Abdul Latif Nezami among others, spoke in the programme.
