MADARIPUR: Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan alleged that the oppositions are trying to save war criminals in the name of movement for restoring caretaker government system.
The minister came up with the allegation Friday to journalists while visiting Madaripur United Islamia Government High School.
Shahjahan Khan said, “The oppositions are trying to save the war criminals since their leader once commented, in a meeting in Bogra, that none of Nizami, Sayeedi, SQ Chy and Mujahid is war criminals.”
Terming Hartal as a political system, the minister stated that vandalizing, torching, killing incidents are not allowed in democracy.
He also claimed that it is very normal that law enforcing forces take necessary steps against any chaotic activities during hartal.
