DHAKA: Speaker and Deputy Speaker on Sunday expressed deep shock at loss of lives in the tragic fire incident at a garment factory in Ashulia of Savar.
They prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Besides, Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Lt Col (retd) Faruk Khan, Industries Minister Dilip Barua, Labour and Employment Minister Razi Uddin Ahmed Razu expressed their deep shock at the deaths.
Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal and Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) condoled deaths.
In separate messages, they called for distribution of adequate compensation among the fire victims.
