DHAKA: Model and actress Anika Kabir Shokh said that she wanted to be a good actress and also a good fashion designer.
She told the visitors of banglanews24.com in an online adda Thursday night.
As a part of the regular programme, country’s only multimedia news portal banglanews24.com arranged the live adda with this actress.
Shokh answered different questions from the visitors of banglanews24.com through three chat boxes named after his works ‘Fifty Fifty’, ‘FnF’ and ‘Alpa Alpa Premer Galpa’.
The adda was also broadcast live on the portal’s web radio and television.
‘I started my art life with dance. Then got chance to perform in the play ‘Swakhar’ in Bangladesh Television as a child artiste. Later, I surprisingly come in modelling’ Shokh answered in a question during the adda.
‘After a break I have started my dance performance with Sohel Rahman,’ she said adding that the country needed more dance programmes as well as dance competitions for the development of this performing art.
The dancer, who earned huge popularity in a TVC by a cell phone operation company Banglalink, said, ‘I enjoyed the TVC a lot. I hope my fans have also enjoyed it.’
About her latest work she said, ‘My latest movie ‘Alpa Alpa Premer Galpa’ is no the way to be released. Shooting of the film is nearly done and is expected to hit cinemas in upcoming Eid.’
To be mentioned, country’s popular singers Ayub Bachchu, Hamin Ahmed, Shafin Ahmed, Tipu and Mila and actors Jaya Ahsan, Mosharraf Karim and Rokeya Prachi, among others, took part at the previous addas.
