ISHWARDI: A school girl allegedly committed suicide following an altercation with her mother in Saragopalpur Bilpara village under Ishwardi upazila of the district on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sima, a class-7 student of Saragopalpur high school, daughter of Abdur Razzak of the area.
Officer-in-Charge of Ishwardi Thana Akbar Hossain told banglanews that the girl hanged herself in her room being egotistical on her mother.
Police, on information, recovered the body and sent it to Pabna morgue for autopsy.
An unnatural death case was filed in this connection, he added.
