Rajuk stands on top in country

DHAKA: Rajuk Uttara Model College clinched the first position in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations in the country.

Abdul Quader Molla School and College in Mymensingh secured second position while Mymensingh Girl’s Cadet College stood in the third position.

In last year, the Rajuk Uttara Model College secured top position in the country.

Besides, it secured first position in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examinations for three consecutive years and stand on top position in Junior School Certificate (JSC) Examinations in 2011.

A total 1176 students of Rajuk College passed in the examination. Among them, 1, 106 got GPA-5.

The college scored 94.05 percent GPA-5 with achieving cent percent pass rate.

Principal Brigadier Md. Gholam Hossain Sarker told banglanews, “I am happy as a teacher and father. We are the top most college in JSC, SSC and HSC examinations.”

“In last year, it secured 84 percent GPA-5. This year, the rate of securing GPA-5 has increased to 98 percent. We upgraded in the securing GPA-5 at 10 percent. We want to continue the results in future,” he added.
