6 BNP men released

GAZIPUR: Some six leaders and activists of opposition BNP were released from Kashimpur Jail of the district on Wednesday night.

They are general secretary of Jubo Dal Saiful Islam Nirob, Swechhasebok Dal president Habib-Un-Nabi Khan Sohel, general secretary Meer Sarafat Ali Sapu, Chhatra Dal president Sultan Salauddin Tuku, general secretary Amirul Islam Alim, city north Chhatra Dal secretary Kamal Anwar Ahmed.

Senior Jail Super of Kashimpur High Security Central Jail Abdur Razzak confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier a High Court Bench comprising Justice Kamrul Islam Siddique and Justice Abu Taher M Saifur Rahman granted 6-month bail on Monday in bus torching, vandalism and attack in city’s Khilgaon during hartal hours on April 21.
