DHAKA: Opposition leader in parliament Khaleda Zia expressed profound shock at the death of Jahangirnagar University teacher Professor Golam Hossain, also the founding president of Chhatra Dal.
In the condolence message, the former prime minister of the country said the educational institution faces irreparable loss for the death of such an intellectual teacher.
She also wished the peace of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the family of the deceased.
BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and standing committee member Dr Khandakar Mosharraf Hossain also expressed condolence at Golam Hossain’s death.
