DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Saturday said her government is working with a view to building Digital Bangladesh by 2021.
She made the assertion while inaugurating online tax payment programme at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the city organized by National Board of Revenue (NBR).
The premier said, “AL has declared the vows to build Digital Bangladesh by 2021 in its election pledge. We have forwarded much to reach the destination.”
Giving thanks to NBR for introducing online tax payment system in the country, she said, “The system has created a new era in the progress of tax payment culture.”
Finance Minister AMA Muhith, advisor to the Prime Minister Mashiur Rahman and FBCCI president AK Azad also addressed at the programme.
