“Mohajoner Nao” at KIFT

DHAKA: Subachan will stage their 2nd show of Mohajoner Nao at Sun Theatre on 24th Keochang International Festival of Theatre (KIFT), Korea Friday.

The famous international theatre festival kicked off in South Korea from 27th July.

Subachan Nattay Sangsad reached there on 7th August with 19 members led by Jhuna chowdhury (secretary General of Bangladesh group theatre federation) and the group leader Ahmed Gias to participate in the festival represent Bangladesh.

The other 12 participating countries are; England, Isreal, Japan, Bulgeria, Russia, Spain, Italy, Zumbia, China and Maldova.

The dramas are being staged on total 15 venues including Sun Theatre, Festival Theatre, Turtle Theatre, Doldem Theatre, Freedom Theatre and Rainbow Theatre in Korea.

All foreign theatres along with Bangladesh are staged on Sun Theatre. Sun Theatre is a really amazing open stage theatre venue for performance. Subachan has 2 day’s (9th & 10th August) performance on Sun Theatre, where the other countries has single performance.

On August 9, Subachan has staged their first performance of Mohajoner Nao in front of house full audience including the journalists and theatre workers of Korea, Spain, Russia, Bulgeria, China by getting huge appreciation.

Mohajoner Nao is specially appreciated by the audience for its choreography, music, Costume, and the performance.

On 8th August, an interventional Theatre Conference held with all participating countries where Subachan represents about indigenous theatre of Bangladesh.
