DHAKA: The agitation organized by the teachers and employees of non-government institutions was postponed from January 30 due to upcoming SSC and Dakhil exams.
The decision of postponing the agitation came from an executive meeting of the agitating teachers and employees on Tuesday.
The agitators under the banner of Shikkhok-Karmachari Oikya Jote began demo in the capital demanding nationalization of their institutions on January 23.
Chairman of the Jote Selim Bhuiyan categorically said they would continue their agitation unless their demand is met.
He also threatened of remaining absent from the duty of upcoming SSC examinations unless their demand is fulfilled.
