RAJSHAHI: Police filed a case against 160-170 people, naming 22, in the fierce clash between police and Jamaat-Shibir men that took place during Wednesday’s hartal.
Motihar Thana SI Jahangir Hossain filed the case on Thursday night.
Motihar Thana OC (investigation) Abdus Sobhan told banglanews, “The case was filed against them for hindering police work but so far no one was arrested regarding it.”
Earlier on Wednesday, Jamaat-e-Islami observed hartal in eight districts of Rajshahi division protesting arrest of its central publicity secretary Tasnim Alam.
