DHAKA: ‘Battleship’, a 2012 American sci-fi naval war film, hit Star Cineplex at Basundhara Shopping Mall on city’s Panthapath area Wednesday evening.
‘Battleship’, directed by Peter Berg, stars Taylor Kitsch, Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgård, Rihanna, Brooklyn Decker, and Tadanobu Asano.
The film will be screened at the Cineplex at 1:30pm, 4:10pm and 6:45pm on Fridays.
It will be screened at 11:00am, 1:30pm, 4:10pm and 6:45pm on the other days.
The film was originally planned to be released in 2011, but it was rescheduled to April 11 in the United Kingdom and May 18 in the United States.
‘Battleship’ world premiere was held in Tokyo on April 3.
Expressed their happiness for arranging the screening of one of the latest Hollywood films ‘Battleship’ for Bangladeshi movie buffs, the Cineplex authorities hoped that they would continue their efforts in screening of latest films.
