DHAKA: The government sought educational facilities including scholarships to Bangladeshi students from Russian government.
Education Secretary Dr Kamal Abdul Naser came up with urge while Russian Federation Envoy to Bangladesh Alexander V Nikolaev called on him at the secretariat on Thursday.
He urged Russian Envoy Nikolaev to increase bilateral communications among the renowned universities of these two countries about higher studies especially in Physics, Information Technology and Nuclear Energy.
On the other hand, Nikolaev mentioned that the relations between Bangladesh and Russia would be strengthened further in future.
At the time, the education secretary introduced to Nikolaev about different progress in education sector during the incumbent government.
Besides, they also discussed about many others bilateral issues of the two countries, Education Secretary Dr Kamal Abdul Naser told banglanews.
