DHAKA: Country’s stock markets marked fall in its price indices on Wednesday.
The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX shed over 13 points only to stand at 4,068 at the close on the fourth trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 1,15,927 with volume of transactions at Tk 5,651 million.
Of the issues traded, 107 advanced, 148 declined and 32 remained unchanged.
BSCCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 406 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were PADMAOIL, GP, RNSPIN, MPETROLEUM, TALLUSPIN, SQURPHARMA, OLYMPIC, JAMUNAOIL and ACTIVEFINE.
Chittagong Stocks Exchange also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 7,986 by dropping over 35 points.
Out of the issues traded, 78 gained, 117 declined and 16 remained unchanged.
