BENAPOLE, JESSORE: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel detained nine Bangladeshi citizens including woman from Benapole border.
BGB members nabbed them when they were trying to intrude into Indian Territory through Benapole border without passport early Tuesday.
The detained persons hailed from Dhaka, Madaripur, Magura, Norail and Pirojpur districts.
Benapole Port Thana sub inspector Azizur Rahman told banglanews, “BGB personnel detained them from Putkhali frontier while they were intruding to India without passport.”
Later BGB members handed them over to police and they would send them to court after completion all formalities, he added.
