DHAKA: National Human Rights Commission (NHR) Chairman Professor Mizanur Rahman Wednesday said the nation still bearing the burnt of Bangabandhu’s killing.
The NHR chief came up with the observation after placing wreaths at Bangabandhu’s portrait in city’s 32 Dhanmondi in the morning.
He also commented that it is not easy for the nation to overcome the loss of missing the great leader.
“We have been fighting since 1975 to get rid of the crisis. A dream, a philosophy was also killed along with Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 1975,” he said.
Mizan said Sheikh Hasina is heading towards the right destination. She would be able to fulfill the dreams of her father.
