TAMABIL (SYLHET): Border Conference Centre will be opened by this month near at Tamabil land port of Sylhet.
Director General of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) will inaugurate the conference centre, BGB sources said.
The centre has been constructed on 1.74 acres of land in a bid to manage the border areas.
All modern amenities have been included in the centre to accommodate the tourists as it is located only 3 kilometers away from noted tourist spot Zaflong.
A tolal of Tk 1.5 crore has been spent to construct the border centre, BGB 5 Border Guard Battalion Captain Lt Col Md Shafiul Azam told banglanews.
BGB will use the centre commercially apart from BGB-BSF conference, he added.
