Khoka taken to BSMMU from jail

DHAKA: City BNP conveyner Sadek Hossain Khoka was admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) on Saturday.
 
The jail authority took him there by an ambulance from Dhaka Central Jail at about 11:30 am as he suddenly felt sick.

Khoka’s personal assistant Monirul Islam informed that he is now under treatment at Urology department of the hospital following complications in urinary system. He also suffered from Kidney problem and diabetics.

On April 30, BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir among a number of alliance leaders were sued for their alleged involvement in cocktail explosion at secretariat, vehicle vandalism and arson in PM office area during Sunday’s dawn-to-dusk hartal.

Police filed two cases with Tejgaon and Shahbagh Thanas. Fakhrul was made accused in the both cases.

Sadek Hossain Khaka is one accused of the case. He is now detained in jail or charge of vehicle vandalism and arson in PM office area. But he got bail in the case of cocktail explosion at secretariat.
