KALIAKOIR, GAZIPUR: At least 45 people were injured as a bus plunged into a roadside canal beside Shafipur-Boroibari road in Taltoli area under Kaliakoir upazila of the district on Monday.
Witnesses said a bus, carrying workers of Safipur Apex garments, plunged into a roadside canal as driver lost control over its steering in the area at about 8:00am, leaving 45 passengers injured.
The injured were rushed to Safipur General Hospital.
